The Municipal Clerk will be unavailable on the following dates:

The Hampton Zoning Official will not be available on the following dates:

The Hampton Borough Council will meet on Monday, September 11, 2017 beginning at 7:30 p.m. Hampton Municipal Building, 1 Wells Avenue, Hampton, NJ 08827


The September 25, 2017 meeting of the Hampton Borough Council has been canceled.


Black Bear have been seen in the areas of New Street, Foss Avenue and Valley Road.  If you encounter a black bear:


Remain calm. Never run. Do not make eye contact.  


Make loud noises by yelling, using a whistle, banging pots and pans or blowing a whistle or an air horn.  Make yourself as big as possible by waving your arms.  If you are with someone stand close together and raise your hands above your head.


Make your presence known by speaking in an assertive voice or clapping your hands.

Until further notice, the Department of Public Works will no longer be collecting electronics (i.e. televisions, computers etc.) Please contact the Hunterdon County Solid Waste & Recycling Services at 788-1110 for information on how you may safety dispose of your electronics.
